چکیده

A field experiment was conducted during rainy (kharif) seasons of 2020 and 2021 at the research farm ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi to study effect nutrient weed management on crop productivity soil microbial properties in aerobic rice (Oryza sativa L.). Experiment factorial randomized complete block design replicated thrice. Nutrient factor comprised 3 levels, viz. Control, 100% 75% RDF + Biofertilizer (BF) consortia; 5 Weedy check, Pyrazosulfuran Bispyribac Almix, mulch, Sesbania hand weeding (HW) free check. Significantly higher plant growth grain yield (4.2 4.4 t/ha) biological (11.6 11.6 were recorded with but these parameters par RDF+ BF consortia. However, biomass carbon, nitrogen as well phosphorus significantly BF. In treatments height, no. tillers, under check over weedy HW almix mulch. Soil Almix Hence, 75 % consortia along through 25 DAS organic mulch (3 may be recommended for enhancing rice.

Crop management effect on chemical and biological properties of soil

This study was aimed at evaluating the effect of crop rotation and various tillage systems onthe chemical and biological properties of soil in the years 2013-2015. The first order factorincluded cropping systems: a) crop rotation (pea – winter wheat – spring wheat) and b)monoculture of winter wheat, whereas the second order factor were tillage systems:1) conventional (CT), 2) reduced (RT) and 3...

Integrated nutrient management and LCC based nitrogen management on soil fertility and yield of rice (Oryza Sativa L.)

The experiment was conducted at lowland series of wet lands, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Farm, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines. The rice variety PSBRc 82 was raised during wet season (June – October), and the experiment was laid out in randomized block design with four replications. There were eleven treatments viz., control, recommended NPK fertilizer, -N, -P, -K, LCC 3, LCC 4,...

Maize productivity and nutrient use efficiency in Western Kenya as affected by soil type and crop management

Low soil fertility and high weed infestation are the main culprits for the declining maize production inWestern Kenya. Technology packages to address these constraints exist, but their effectiveness is likely to be influenced by variability in soil types and farm management practices in the region. Trials were conducted during the 2008/2009 cropping seasons to investigate the nutrient use e...
